Left the hotel this morning and ventured to a nearby town for our first quilt shop of the day.
A little small shop with a few great buys for all of us.
Back to Bedford and the Omni Bedford Springs for the luncheon with Di Ford Hall.
Originally built in 1806 it was the first to put in indoor pools fed by the local springs in the early 1900s. In 1984 it was put on the National Historical Register, but closed two years later. In 2004 major renovations of over $100 million were finished in 2007. What a grand place. I can only imagine what it was like to come here in the early 1900's. (Kind of like the resort on Dirty Dancing, but LARGER)
Buffet lunch, a few door prizes, one by ME. I got a fat quarter pack of Di's new fabric line and my picture with her.

While driving thru Bedford on our way back from lunch, we stopped at the quilt shop just down the road from Mary's.
T--he three of us decided to go to Fisher's Country Store.
Wonderful Amish store, Margaret got some cheese and I am bringing home some homemade garlic parsley noodles. We started touring the countryside via back roads. Beautiful!!!
We found three more quilt shops - who would have thought, in the middle of nowhere.
Found some fabrics we just couldn't live without.
Quaint shop, but packed with lots of stuff!
