So Quiet!

Margaret arrived late this morning, but everyone else has gone. 

We are alone and it is soooooo quiet here. 



Back from dinner and heads down sewing. Lots to catch up on.

 

First project Margaret did after she got back was to put her pinwheel blocks together and add it to her strippy quilt

 

 

Do the mini 9-patch blocks look familiar?  They are from our last Blockswappers program. 

 

Next one will be a Christmas one and will start in May.  Stay tuned~you won't want to miss out on that one!

 

 

 

 

 

 

No Carol had to leave till tomorrow afternoon and did not get her floral with the picket fence finished yet.  She was bummed!

 

Susan got lots of scraps cut up this afternoon.  We all kept tossing her the extras from our project and she was in heaven!  Great Susan-now I know what to do with all those scraps at home. 

Santa will deliver a new pile every morning on the next retreat.  SHHHHH-don't rat on me.

 

Chris started a new project this morning.  It was the January Mystery kit.  She was making real progress when it was time to go.  Kept saying we didn't think they would make it out of the parking lot and that school would be called because of snow and that they should just call off sick anyway and stay and sew this week.  Whew!  All these great excuses to stay and sew.

 

Me-well, I did manage to get March Women of Courage blocks done.  Couldn't go any further till the next round of fabrics gets here.

 

But hey-I'm ahead of this one.

·         Amish With a Twist 2 - Start this (don't know how far I will get, but I would like at least 2 months)

·         Women of Courage (2nd quilt) - I need to get 2 months done for this to be caught up DONE + EXTRA MONTH

·         Women of the Bible - 4 months to be caught up

·         Our Town - Our newest BOM starting in March - 1 block

·         Civil War Love Letters - 3 blocks in 3 sizes to show at Farmer's Wife this month

·         First Ladies - 4 blocks for the February 2nd Saturday DONE in 2 COLORWAYS

·         A Quilt of Valor top
