Supper finished and dishes done! Finally finished the Villa Rose Raffle Quilt top. Villa Rose Quilt Show is a non juried show that will be held at the Villa Rose Retirement Center in Bethalto, IL on the 2nd Saturday in March. This is our 14th year of helping to put on the event there. Each year we donate a quilt to be raffled off with the proceeds going to Susan B. Koman Breast Cancer. Please come out and see us there from 10-3 pm. We will have a mini store set up for quilters, a bed turning will be held at 10:30, 11:30 and 1:30. This year we will be focusing on Patriotic and Red-White-Blue quilts.
If you have a quilt you would like to display at the show, please contact us at the shop or the girls at Villa Rose. All quilts are welcome. We have a display of over 150 quilts each year. This is a free show.
Now working on the North American Mystery quilt top. Each month (on the 3rd Sunday) we are open from 1-3pm only. At this time, come a view a new quilt. We will be handing out FREE pattern for this quilt. This month, Amy has made the original quilt and I am making a different version using the same blocks. You must come and let us know which quilt is your favorite.
Stopping for a shower and snack. Goal for tomorrow is to get this North American Mystery top completed. Let's see if that happens.
